I Heard Music for the First Time in 10 Years

I heard music for the first time in 10 years.
I started losing my hearing when I was young. Music was the first thing to go. By my early twenties, it just became noise.
Eventually, I stopped listening. You learn to live with these things. 🤷♀️
A month ago, my husband started bugging me about the new AirPods Pro 2 and their hearing features. I wasn't interested. The marketing clearly said "for mild hearing loss" and I'm completely deaf.
Well, earlier this week, the AirPods went on sale on Flipkart so I thought, might as well give it a try.
Yesterday, I put them on and broke down crying.
Ten years of silence shattered in an instant. Notes I'd forgotten existed came rushing back.
I cried. Hard. Because how do you process rediscovering something you'd forced yourself to forget?
How do you explain the feeling of getting back a piece of your soul you'd learned to live without?
Here's the wild part: I’m not even who these AirPods were designed for. They're just... working. For someone who's completely deaf.
Sometimes the most profound innovations aren't the ones that change the world – they're the ones that give someone their world back.
